Son of a Fish, opening this Autumn in Dubai Harbour, offers a bold new take on Greek dining, reinventing tradition through an experience that shifts effortlessly from seafood lunch to energetic evenings. Brought to life by AlphaMind, Son of a Fish is one of several concepts by the group opening this year at Harbour House, the new dining and entertainment destination at Dubai Harbour.

Inspired by the Athenian Riviera, Son of a Fish pays homage to early Greek fishermen yet it belongs to the next generation: those who salt their fish generously, pour their friends’ drinks before their own, and refuse to go home until the very last song. In its understated décor, Son of a Fish emulates the stripped-back beauty of the Athenian coastline. The airy indoor space, framed by floor-length windows, opens onto a minimalist terrace with sweeping coastline views, meticulously designed for al fresco dining, laid-back drinks, and electric moments by the bar.

Son of a Fish serves expertly prepared seafood and authentic Greek dishes with a global twist, all made for sharing. A fresh fish display captures the warmth of a seaside taverna, while the beverage menu livens up the meal with bottles curated for long lunches, leisurely sunsets, and buzzing nights. Music is at the heart of Son of a Fish, as DJs transition from sundown to starlit sky. Modern Aegean Electronica takes centre stage while a cultural programme enhances the sound with curated live performances.
